The Dry Fork River runs alongside our campground. Water levels, currents, and conditions vary. Stay out during high water, flooding, or strong currents, especially during and after heavy rain. In suitable conditions, guests enjoy:

  • The Blackwater trail from Hendricks to Thomas (and Douglas Falls) is easily and quickly accessed across the cable suspension foot bridge nearby just half a mile from camp.

  • The Allegheny Highland bike trail from the Hendricks Swinging Bridge to Elkins (25 miles)
