About Us
Discover Your Wilderness Escape
Welcome to Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground — a 35-acre private retreat on the banks of the Dry Fork River in Parsons, West Virginia. With 2,100 feet of riverfront, moss-covered forest trails, and year-round lodging, we offer more than a campsite: we offer renewal, adventure, and the quiet of nature.
Our Promise
At Brooklyn Heights, you’ll trade crowds for calm, chain-links for tree-links, and “just another cabin” for a cabin with river whispering in the background.
We’ve curated stays for every style — from cozy forest cabins, to primitive tent sites, RV spots tucked into the woods, a unique bus-camp, and a tipi group retreat — so you can choose how you connect with nature.
What You’ll Experience
-
Wild river moments: Wade in our clean mountain water, tube along gentle flows, relax on the sun-warmed bank, or cast a line for fly fishing.
-
Forest immersion: Hike mossy old-growth trails, listen for the holler of wildlife, gaze at stars that shine through fewer lights.
-
Architectural delight: Stay in vintage buses turned bohemian lodging, heated cabins, or our event tipi space under the trees.
-
Nearby mountain culture: Just a short drive to the artsy towns of Thomas & Davis, and the sweeping views of Canaan Valley, you’re tucked into wilderness yet close to rustic charm.
About Your Hosts
I’m Vince, and this place is my dream come to life. I bought this land to build something meaningful — a place where families, couples, or solo wanderers could unplug, soak in the forest, and wake up to river-song. My team and I maintain the site year-round, maintain the firewood, clear the trails, and keep it all in tune with nature’s rhythm.
