Piccolo Paulo’s – amazing food and atmosphere but only open for lunch 11am - 2pm Mon - Fri.
Sunrise Coffee Company – new in Parsons – open 7:00am to 5:00pm and later in the summer. Great NY bagels, breakfast options, pastries and coffee options. Free wi-fi.
Blackfork Pizza & Riverside Brews -- Riverfront deck, live music at times, pizza, subs, and more. Lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Owned by Mountain State Brewery folks. www.blackforkpizza.com. Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri. 4 - 8pm / Sat/Sun11am - 8pm / Closed Tuesdays.
B&J Family Diner - great breakfast all day, lunch and dinner. Country cooking, affordable prices! Favorite with locals. 6am - 8pm most days.

Bethany's Cake & Cupcakes – near the courthouse… lots of great sweets and coffee but also breakfast and lunch. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

Purple Fiddle – Grab a beer or ice cream or coffee or lunch or dinner. Many evening concerts (Thursdays thru Sundays), free live music Saturday and Sunday early afternoon (12noon to 3pm). Great place to laptop with internet
TipTop Coffee Shop – great place for desserts, coffee and bring your laptop to work
Happy & More – bakery, coffee shop, breakfast sandwiches, super cute place.

Davis

Blackwater Falls Lodge & Resort – Smokehouse Restaurant and weekend breakfast buffets (Fri/Sat mornings) all you can eat around $16 incl. coffee. Incredible surroundings and views just out back and close by.
Blackwater Bistro – breakfast, lunch, sweets, homemade donuts, coffee.
The Billy Motel Bar and Restaurant – the most interesting, beautiful and eclectic eatery in the county. Global small plate foods, beer, wine, mixed drinks.
Milo’s Cafe – great weekend breakfast, lunch or dinner. Friday evenings 6:30 to 9:00pm listen to live music by EMay – an incredible local musician.
Wicked Wilderness – lunch and dinner, bar, sports TV, beer and wine.
Hellbenders Burritos – famous burrito place serving Tucker Co. for a very long time. Large selection of beers too.
Sirannis’ Pizza – one of the oldest continuously operating food establishments in the county - since 1988. Pizza, Italian, beer. Cash only.
Alpine Lodge Sawmill Restaurant – country food / breakfast / lunch / dinner.
The Ice Cream Shop - says it all.
The Eagle – a club but open to the public on weekends. Inexpensive bar food and beer. Lots of deep fried options.

Nearest Walmart or Lowes in in Oakland about 35 minutes away. Walmart also in Elkins WV.

Canaan Valley

Canaan Valley Lodge & Resort – typical state lodge with large dining area and weekend breakfast buffets (Fri/Sat mornings) all you can eat around $18 incl. Coffee in the Hickory Dining Room. Separate bar area - the Laurel Lounge. Nicer dining area than Blackwater Falls lodge.
Mama Mia’s – Pizza and Italian. Very popular in Canaan.
Whitegrass Cafe – only open during cross country ski season - but amazing food options. Earthy, organic, vegan and vegetarian options. Coffee and Beer too.
Timberline Mountain Lodge - the Slippery Slope Bar & Grill on the top floor – only open during ski season
